Loved Ones RemeMbered
A Yizkor Memorial Book is a long-standing Jewish tradition where we gather as a community to recall beloved memories of those who have passed before us. These memories become an inherent part of our High Holiday observance.
Each year, Congregation Ahavat Olam provides a memorial book for remembrance of our departed loved ones. It is an opportunity for each member to make a personal entry in the memory of family members or others to be inscribed in the High Holiday Book of Remembrance. Yizkor is a special time that evokes individually meaningful thoughts that often influence our lives long after our loved ones have departed.
So, together, at this time of reflection, renewal, and celebration, we will pay tribute to our loved ones and the roles they played in our families and our respective journeys through life, which have ultimately brought us together as a community.
We invite you to submit the names of your loved ones for our 2026/5786 Yizkor Memorial Book publication.
Please have names submitted by September 12th. This date is firm, so we have adequate time to compile and produce this special booklet. If you have difficulty with the online form, simply email Einat at einatif@gmail.com, and she will be happy to help.
In the meantime, you can visit our 2025/5785 Yizkor Memorial publication here.
