Yizkor Memorial Book

Loved Ones RemeMbered

A Yizkor Memorial Book is a long-standing Jewish tradition where we gather as a community and recall beloved memories of those who have passed before us. These memories become an inherent part of our high holiday observance.

So, together, at this time of reflection, renewal, and celebration, we will pay tribute to our loved ones and the roles they played in our families and our respective journeys through life, that have ultimately brought us together as a community.

2024 Yizkor Memorial Book submissions have closed. Check back in 2025 leading up to the High Holidays. In the meantime, we invite you to view the 2024 publication.

Each year, Congregation Ahavat Olam provides a memorial book for remembrance of our departed loved ones. It is an opportunity for each member to make a personal entry in the memory of family members or others to be inscribed in the High Holiday Book of Remembrance. Yizkor is a special time that evokes individually meaningful thoughts that often influence our lives long after our loved ones have departed.
